
The Kerala government has opened applications for the Sthree Suraksha Scheme, a welfare initiative that provides ₹1,000 per month to eligible women and trans women in the state. The scheme aims to offer financial support to women who are not covered under any other welfare pension programmes.
Under the Sthree Suraksha Scheme, eligible beneficiaries will receive a monthly pension of ₹1,000. The amount will be credited directly to the beneficiary’s bank account through the Kerala Social Security Pension Company, following verification by local authorities.
