Maharashtra’s Women and Child Development Minister, Aditi Tatkare, announced that the November e-KYC deadline for the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana will be extended by 15 days for women in flood-affected regions.

This move ensures that eligible beneficiaries can complete verification despite technical or logistical challenges.

Technical Improvements in e-KYC

The government is enhancing the e-KYC server system to make verification smoother and faster. Around 400,000–500,000 verifications are being completed daily. So far, over 11 million women, nearly 90% of applicants, have successfully finished the process.
