Iran Mulls Fees for Ships Crossing Strait of Hormuz as US Tensions Rise

Iran has moved closer to charging ships that use the Strait of Hormuz. A parliamentary commission has approved a plan that would allow the country to collect fees from vessels for different services provided in the important waterway, as per news reporeports.
