Gusty winds of 40–50 kmph are also expected during the spell of unsettled weather. The latest forecast follows a brief reduction in rainfall and points to widespread rain across North Konkan through July 31, 2026.

Apart from Mumbai and Thane, the IMD has issued a yellow alert for Palghar and an orange alert for Raigad on July 30, 2026. Palghar is expected to be upgraded to an orange alert on July 31, 2026, due to the possibility of isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall.
