Bikaji Foods International Limited announced the incorporation of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Bikaji Bakes Private Limited (BBPL), following approval from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs on December 28, 2024.
BBPL, with an authorised and paid-up share capital of ₹1,00,000, is dedicated to entering the bakery and frozen food segment within the FMCG industry.
BBPL will focus on manufacturing, distributing, and operating outlets for a variety of products, including frozen bread, cakes, gluten-free items, croissants, and viennoiserie. This strategic expansion allows Bikaji to diversify its portfolio and strengthen its position in the evolving consumer goods market. With 100% of the shareholding subscribed by Bikaji Foods, BBPL will leverage its parent company’s market expertise to establish a robust foothold in the bakery sector.
The incorporation of BBPL aligns with Bikaji’s vision of meeting the rising demand for premium bakery products, which have gained significant traction due to changing consumer preferences.
BBPL’s authorised share capital consists of 10,000 equity shares valued at ₹10 each. The total acquisition cost stands at ₹1,00,000.
Through BBPL, Bikaji aims to cater to evolving consumer needs by offering innovative and high-quality bakery products. By leveraging its brand reputation and expanding its product line, the company is poised to enhance its market share and strengthen its long-term growth trajectory in the competitive FMCG space.
