The network uses advanced algorithms to flag these suspicious activities, identifying approximately 1 million spammers daily. The company has successfully alerted over 252 million customers about potential spam, resulting in a 12% decrease in customers answering such calls. Interestingly, 35% of spam calls originated from landlines.
In its financial results for Q2 FY 2025, Bharti Airtel posted a revenue of ₹41,473 crore, marking a 12% year-on-year increase and a 7.7% quarter-on-quarter rise. This growth was largely attributed to the company’s strong performance in India and consistent growth in its African operations. Bharti Airtel’s EBITDA for the quarter stood at ₹22,021 crore, with an impressive EBITDA margin of 53.1%.
