Adani Green Energy Incorporates AGE68L to Expand Renewable Portfolio

Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has taken significant steps to expand its renewable energy portfolio.
Incorporation of a Subsidiary
On December 28, 2024, Adani Renewable Energy Holding Nine Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of AGEL, incorporated Adani Green Energy Sixty Eight Limited (AGE68L).
Registered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, AGE68L’s primary objective is to generate, transform, distribute, and supply renewable energy, including wind and solar power.
Commissioning of Projects
Additionally, AGEL announced the commissioning of two major renewable energy projects at Khavda, Gujarat, further solidifying its position as a leader in the renewable energy sector.
Adani Renewable Energy Forty Eight Limited, a step-down subsidiary, has commissioned a 62.4 MW wind power component as part of its hybrid wind-solar project. Meanwhile, Adani Green Energy Twenty Four A Limited, another step-down subsidiary, has operationalised a 112.5 MW solar power plant in the same region.
These projects, operational from December 29, 2024, have increased AGEL’s total renewable energy generation capacity to 11,608.9 MW.
On December 30, 2024, Adani Green Energy share price opened at ₹1,060.00, touching the day’s low at ₹1,047.25, as of 9:40 AM on the NSE.
