Trendline

Trendlines are a powerful tool in analyzing the movement of prices in the financial market. They are drawn through a series of two or more successive lower peaks in a downtrend or successive higher troughs in an uptrend. This line can also be drawn through the close of prices. The strength of a trendline is determined by the number of times it is connected with the price movement. The more instances of contact, the more reliable the trendline becomes.
