Pivot Point

In finance, we often use a pivot point to analyze market trends. This is a term that refers to the sum of the high, low, and closing price, divided by three. In the next trading session, if the market falls below the pivot point, it could potentially act as a resistance point. Conversely, if the market rises above the pivot point, it may serve as a support level. Understanding pivot points can help us make more informed investment decisions.
