Fringe benefits

Fringe benefits are additional perks offered to employees in addition to their regular salary or wages. These benefits can take the form of monetary allowances, such as holiday bonuses, or non-monetary benefits, such as free housing. While many countries tax certain fringe benefits, the taxation of others can vary greatly. For instance, employer-provided cars and accommodations are often taxed, but other benefits may be exempt.
