Balancing payment

In finance, we often come across the term "payment" which refers to the transfer of funds from one party to another. In the context of Cost Contribution Arrangements (CCA), this payment serves to equalize the contributions of different participants. Essentially, the payer's contributions increase in value while the payee's decrease by the same amount. This is a crucial aspect to consider when analyzing the financial impact of CCAs.
