Consolidated Short Position Report

In the world of finance, it is important to have a clear understanding of various terms and regulations. One such term is a consolidated report, which provides a comprehensive overview of the total shares short and their net change from the previous report for both TSX and TSX Venture Exchange listed issues. It is mandatory for all Participating Organizations and Members to report their short positions on a semi-monthly basis to TSX Datalinx, as per UMIR rule 10.10. Non-clearing firms have the option to report through their clearing firm. This ensures transparency and accountability in the market.
