Negative Yield Curve

A yield curve is a graphical representation of the relationship between the yield level and the term to maturity of debt instruments with similar creditworthiness. When long-term rates exceed short-term rates, the yield curve takes on a positive shape. However, there are instances when the yield curve may become negative or inverted. This curve is an important tool for investors to understand the current and future state of the economy and make informed decisions.
