Surrender or Cash Value

When a policy is terminated prematurely, the amount that the policyholder is entitled to receive is known as the surrender value. This value is paid out if the policyholder decides to terminate the policy and end the insurance contract. It is important to note that by surrendering the policy, the insurance protection provided by the policy will also come to an end.
