Rights Entitlement

Rights entitlements, commonly referred to as REs, are a form of rights issued by a company to its current shareholders. These rights are held in their Demat accounts and can be traded at a predetermined time. The allocation of REs is based on the ratio of existing equity shares held by shareholders as of the record date. This allows shareholders to maintain their ownership in the company and potentially increase their investment.
