Share Market Pre Open Updates – April 16, 2024

On April 15, 2024, Nifty 50 was down 1.10% to 22,272, while Sensex slipped 1.14% to 73,399. Foreign investors sold securities worth around ₹3,268  crores, while domestic investors bought shares worth ₹4,762 crore. 

Top Gainers and Losers

Nifty Oil & Gas witnessed gains during the trading session while Nifty Media, Nifty PSU Bank, Nifty Financial Services 25/50 and Nifty Financial Services ended in red. The top gainers were ONGC, Hindalco, GAIL and Maruti Suzuki, which showed positive movement. On the other hand,  Jio Financial Services, Adani Green Energy, IRFC and Shriram Finance were the top losers of the day.

Ramkrishna Forgings and Aster DM Healthcare were in the news on April 15, 2024.

• Ramkrishna Forgings secured orders worth ₹270 crore for Vande Bharat trains, resulting in a 2% share price rise to ₹706.
• Aster DM Healthcare’s shares zoomed ~8% after the company announced a special dividend of ₹118.
