Watch out for these low-priced stocks that were locked in the upper circuit today 9 June 2023

On Friday, the benchmark indices were trading flat with Sensex down around 22 points or 0.03% at 62,830 and the Nifty trading down by 2 points or 0.01% at 18,633. About 1,854 shares have advanced, 1,207 declined, and 121 are unchanged on the BSE. 

Top gainers and losers On BSE Sensex Index are as follows

The top Sensex gainers were IndusInd Bank, Axis Bank and UltraTech Cement, whereas the top Sensex losers were Mahindra & Mahindra, Infosys and Tata Steel Ltd.   

The BSE Telecommunication Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and BSE Information Technology Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Telecommunication Index soared 0.90%, led by Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Ltd and Tata Communication Ltd while the BSE IT Index was down 0.50% dragged down by eMudhra Ltd and Sasken Technologies Ltd. 

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index down 0.36% and the BSE Small-cap index down 0.24%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Macrotech Developers Ltd and C G Power & Industrial Solutions Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Heubach Colorants India Ltd and NGL Fine-Chem Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: Sonata Software Ltd, Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar Ltd and India Cements Ltd.
