Infosys, the second-largest IT company in terms of market capitalization and a prominent player in next-gen digital services, has revealed an extended strategic partnership with NVIDIA. The shared objective is to assist enterprises across the globe in achieving increased productivity through the implementation of generative AI applications and solutions. 

The expanded partnership will introduce the NVIDIA AI Enterprise ecosystem of models, tools, runtimes, and GPU systems to Infosys Topaz, an AI-first set of services, solutions, and platforms that accelerate business value using generative AI technologies. Through this integration, Infosys will create offerings that customers can adopt to easily integrate generative AI into their businesses. 

Furthermore, Infosys intends to establish an NVIDIA Centre of Excellence, dedicated to training and certifying 50,000 of its employees in NVIDIA AI technology. This initiative aims to equip them with generative AI expertise, which they can then offer to the extensive array of customers spanning various industries within Infosys’ network. 

Nandan Nilekani, Co-founder and Chairman of Infosys stated, “Infosys is evolving into a company that prioritizes AI, allowing us to enhance our provision of AI-powered services to clients on a global scale. Our clients are increasingly interested in intricate AI applications capable of delivering substantial business value across their complete value chain. 

Jensen Huang, Founder and CEO of NVIDIA, expressed, “Generative AI is poised to propel the upcoming wave of productivity enhancements in the enterprise sector.” 

Infosys leverages the complete NVIDIA generative AI platform, encompassing both hardware and enterprise-grade software, to drive innovation throughout its business operations.  

Additionally, Infosys assists its clients in crafting generative AI applications that span various aspects of business, including operations, sales, and marketing. Powered by NVIDIA’s AI Enterprise frameworks, pre-trained models, and toolkits, such as the NVIDIA NeMo LLM framework, NVIDIA Metropolis for computer vision, and NVIDIA Riva for speech AI, Infosys has successfully formulated a range of AI-driven solutions tailored for enterprise needs across diverse industries. 

This partnership also encompasses digitalization applications, with a particular emphasis on creating solutions for enterprise scenarios involving 3D workflows, collaborative design, digital twin technology, world simulation, and related areas.  

Furthermore, both companies are collaborating on the development of AI-powered solutions in critical domains such as 5G, cybersecurity, and the transition to sustainable energy sources. 

Today, the shares of Infosys opened at Rs 1480 and closed nearly unchanged at Rs 1490 compared to their previous day’s closing price of Rs 1491 each on the BSE.
