ZURZUVAE is a neuroactive steroid that is a positive allosteric modulator of GABAA receptors, targeting both synaptic and extrasynaptic GABAA receptors, and is the first oral, once-daily, 14-day treatment specifically indicated for adults with PPD. It is also evaluating potential indications for SAGE-324, a novel GABAA receptor positive allosteric modulator intended for chronic oral dosing, including seizures in developmental and epileptic encephalopathies. Its other areas of focus are SAGE-319, SAGE-039, and SAGE-817.
