Metromile, Inc. is a digital insurance platform, which provides products to auto insurance customers in the United States and auto insurance companies in the United States and globally. It offers its insurance customers real time, personalized auto insurance policies, priced and billed by the mile, with rates based on precisely how and how much they actually drive, instead of using the industry standard approximations and estimates. It operates two segments: Insurance Services is engaged in providing insurance policies for automobile owners; and Enterprise Business Solutions is engaged in providing access to its developed technology under software as a service arrangement along with professional services to third party customers. Its Metromile application provides notifications to avoid parking tickets, get walking directions to customer’s car, and monitor customer’s car health. Its Metromile Enterprise is a platform to automate claims and reduce losses associated with fraud.
