Alka India was incorporated on November 30, 1993 as Alka Sales with the Registrar of Companies, Gujarat. Subsequently, the name was changed to Alka Spinners on April 21, 1994 and then to Alka Spinners on September 21, 1994. The company is promoted by RB Panchariya and S R Panchariya.
