Shares of Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR) gained nearly 3% on Monday, May 19, following the company’s announcement that its Board of Directors will meet on May 22, 2025, to consider a proposal for issuing bonus shares.
In addition to the bonus share proposal, the board is also set to review the company’s financial results for the March quarter, according to a regulatory filing.
The company noted that any bonus issue, if approved, would be subject to necessary regulatory and shareholder approvals.
CONCOR shares were up 2.86% at ₹751.40. Despite today’s gain, the stock remains down around 4% year-to-date in 2025.

This marks the fifth time CONCOR has considered issuing bonus shares. The last such instance was in 2019, when the company offered one bonus share for every four shares held. Prior to that, similar issuances were made in 2017 (1:4 ratio), 2013 (1:2 ratio), and 2008 (1:1 ratio).
