The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty50 both closed higher on Wednesday, continuing their winning streak for the fourth straight session.
The Sensex rose by 110.58 points, or 0.14%, to end at 80,956.33, moving between 81,245.39 and 80,630.53 during the day. Meanwhile, the Nifty50 finished at 24,467.45, up by 10.30 points, or 0.04%. It reached a high of 24,573.20 and a low of 24,366.30 during the trading session.

Bharti Airtel share price closed today at ₹1,583.65, marking a decline of 2.28%. The company has entered into a multi-year, multi-billion-dollar agreement with Ericsson to extend its 4G and 5G contracts. The deal includes deploying centralised RAN and Open RAN-ready solutions for network transformation aimed at providing wider coverage and improved capacity. Ericsson will also upgrade its existing 4G radios to enhance customer experience. Reports indicate that Airtel has secured renewals worth $1.2 billion with Ericsson, Nokia, and Samsung, along with new equipment orders for 4G and 5G networks.
Cipla share price closed today at ₹1,500.00, marking a decline of 2.21%.
Bajaj Auto Limited share price closed today at ₹9,000.00, marking a decline of 1.77%. The company shares fell by more than 2% on December 4, reversing small early gains, following news that the company had reduced the prices of its Freedom 125 CNG motorcycle just 5 months after its launch. UBS Securities pointed out that Bajaj Auto had cut the price of the entry-level Freedom 125 variant by ₹5,000 and the mid-level variant by ₹10,000. The company also reduced prices for some Pulsar models after Diwali.
Tata Motors share price closed today at ₹788.20, marking a decline of 1.63%.
Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone share price closed today at ₹1,267.80, marking a decline of 1.62%.
