Zydus Lifesciences Share Price in Focus; US Subsidiary Agrees to Pay $5.9 Million to Settle Litigation

The share price of Zydus Lifesciences will be on the radar as its US subsidiary, Zydus Pharmaceuticals USA Inc, has decided to settle certain litigation pending in the US. The case is one of several lawsuits over the pricing of generic medicines. 

In conjunction with the settlement, Zydus Pharmaceuticals USA has agreed to pay $5.9 million to settle the matter. 

Settlement in US Case 

The pending case is before the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and concerns a class of indirect reseller plaintiffs. 

This relates to certain matters contained in the Generic Pharmaceuticals Pricing Antitrust Litigation, MDL No. 2724.
