
Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd has informed the stock exchanges that its board will meet on June 10, 2026, to consider a proposal for raising funds through the issuance of equity shares and other securities convertible into equity shares.
As per an exchange filing dated June 6, 2026, the proposal will be discussed under the applicable provisions of the SEBI Listing Regulations.
According to the filing, the company may raise capital in one or more tranches through permitted routes such as private placement, preferential issue or any other approved method or a combination of methods.
The final structure and terms of the issue, if approved, will be decided by the board based on regulatory requirements and the company's plans.
The filing stated that any proposed equity issuance will be subject to the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013 and the SEBI (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2018, along with other applicable laws.
The proposal will also require approvals from shareholders and other regulatory authorities before it can be implemented.
The company has also announced the closure of its trading window with immediate effect. As per SEBI's insider trading regulations and the company's code of conduct, trading in Zee Entertainment securities will remain restricted until 48 hours after the conclusion of the board meeting scheduled for 10 June.

As of June 8, 2026, 1:26 pm, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd share price was trading at ₹114.18, a 1.70% increase from the previous closing price.
The company's board is set to review multiple options for raising funds through equity-linked instruments. Further steps will depend on approvals required under the applicable regulations.
