Waaree Energies Share Price in Focus; Arm WCES Enters Specialty Gases Market for Semiconductor and Solar Manufacturing

Waaree Clean Energy Solutions (WCES), a wholly owned subsidiary of Waaree Energies, has entered India’s specialty gases market.
The company announced the move on September 24, 2026, through an exchange filing with plans to supply gases and chemicals to semiconductor and solar cell manufacturers.
Plant Planned in Gujarat
WCES is setting up a specialty gases plant at GIDC Saykha, Dahej, Gujarat. The company said high-purity process gases and chemicals used in semiconductor and solar manufacturing are still largely imported.
The new facility is intended to provide domestic supplies of ultra-high-purity (UHP) gases. The business will be developed in phases, starting with storage and handling facilities that meet semiconductor-grade safety and purity requirements.
Gases And Chemicals
The planned facilities include a UHP ammonia purification unit and a phosphine/hydrogen (PH₃/H₂) mixing plant. UHP oxygen is also included in the plans, while UHP hydrogen is already commercially available.
WCES’s listed range includes silane, ammonia, nitrous oxide, phosphine mixtures, boron trichloride, trimethyl aluminium, diborane, germane/H₂ mixes, HBr, SF₆, nitric oxide, fluorinated gases and calibration gases.
Supply for Semiconductor and Solar Units
The company will also work on customised gas and chemical supply systems and nitrogen plants. Its Total Gas & Chemical Management System will cover storage, delivery, safety monitoring and inventory management.
WCES said the business will supply fabs, OSAT and ATMP units, advanced electronics manufacturers and solar cell production lines.
Waaree’s Existing Capacity
The new business follows WCES’s existing clean energy manufacturing operations, including its electrolyser stack facility. Waaree Energies, established in 1990, has around 29 GW of solar PV module capacity and up to 15.4 GW of solar cell capacity.
Waaree Energies Share Price Performance
As of September 25, 2026, 11:19 am, Waaree Energies share price was trading at ₹2,490.00, a 0.32% increase from the previous closing price.
Conclusion
WCES is adding specialty gases and related chemical supply to its existing clean energy operations. The company’s plans are focused on supplying semiconductor and solar manufacturers in India.
