Vakrangee Ltd has announced a corporate agency arrangement with Bajaj General Insurance to distribute general insurance products across its network of Vakrangee Kendras.
The partnership aims to expand access to insurance services across India by leveraging Vakrangee’s extensive outlet network. Through this collaboration, the company will offer a range of insurance products to customers across urban, semi-urban and rural areas.
Under the agreement, Vakrangee Kendras will distribute a variety of general insurance products, including health, motor, home and travel insurance. The initiative is designed to improve accessibility to insurance services by making them available through easily accessible neighbourhood outlets.
The partnership will enable customers from multiple segments, including retail consumers, rural households, small and medium enterprises and corporate clients, to purchase insurance products conveniently through Vakrangee Kendras.
Vakrangee plans to utilise its widespread Kendra network to improve last-mile connectivity for insurance services. Many rural and semi-urban regions in India still face limited access to financial and insurance products. By integrating insurance offerings into its existing service platform, the company aims to bridge this gap and expand financial inclusion.
The Kendras will act as customer touchpoints where individuals can receive assistance in selecting suitable insurance products and completing the purchase process.
Vakrangee Kendras function as exclusive branded outlets that offer a wide range of digital and financial services. These outlets provide services such as banking assistance, insurance distribution, ATM operations, assisted e-commerce, e-governance solutions and healthcare services.
The addition of general insurance products further strengthens the platform’s role as a one-stop solution for essential financial and digital services.
On March 23, 2026, Vakrangee share price opened at ₹5.70. At 11:15 AM, the share price of Vakrangee was trading at ₹5.44, down by 4.56% on the NSE.
