Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Ltd. has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Limited (APTRANSCO) for the manufacturing of transformers and related work. The company disclosed the order on August 14, 2026.  

Order Falls in ₹100-500 Crore Category 

The company has classified the contract as a Large Order. Under its order classification policy, orders between ₹100 crore and ₹500 crore, excluding GST, fall into this category. However, the company has not disclosed the exact value of the APTRANSCO order.   

13-Month Delivery Schedule 

The transformers and related work are scheduled to be delivered within the next 13 months. The work will be carried out according to the terms and conditions specified in the LOI.  

The order has come from APTRANSCO, making it a domestic contract. The company has identified the nature of the order as manufacturing of transformers along with related work.
