Tech Mahindra and Orange Business have begun exclusive discussions to form a non-equity partnership linked to enterprise digital services, as per an exchange filing.
The proposed arrangement is expected to run over 5 years and would focus on supporting global clients through combined technology and connectivity capabilities.
As per the exchange filings, the talks focus on combining Orange Business’ network, cloud, and cybersecurity assets with Tech Mahindra’s delivery capabilities across AI, automation, and secure digital platforms.
As part of the proposed framework, Orange Business may transfer certain international operational responsibilities to Tech Mahindra. These include segments of customer support, billing-related functions, and post-sales services conducted outside France.
Operations within France, along with sensitive sectors such as defence and national security, are expected to remain outside the scope due to regulatory requirements.
A joint review of systems, tools, and performance measures is expected to assess areas where execution timelines and operational scale could be adjusted.
Orange Business operates across 65 countries with approximately 30,000 employees and serves more than 30,000 enterprise customers globally. The wider Orange Group reported 340 million customers across 26 countries and revenue of €40.4 billion at the end of 2025.
Tech Mahindra employs over 149,000 professionals across more than 90 countries and works with more than 1,100 enterprise clients across IT, network, and business process services.
The discussions are ongoing and remain subject to internal consultation processes before any final agreement is reached.
As of March 02, 2026, 12:43 pm, Tech Mahindra share price was trading at ₹1,331.70, a 1.92% decrease from the previous closing price.
The proposed partnership remains under discussion and is subject to internal consultation processes. Its final structure will depend on operational and regulatory reviews.
