TCS Share Price in Focus; To Transition Best Buy India GCC into AI Capability Center

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Best Buy have agreed to transition the US retailer’s Global Capability Center (GCC) in India to TCS. The arrangement will bring Best Buy’s India team into TCS while keeping the existing business and technology knowledge within the setup.
The center will gradually move towards an AI-native model under a multi-year agreement. TCS plans to combine the team’s retail and enterprise experience with its own technology, engineering and AI capabilities.
Best Buy India Team to Move to TCS
As part of the transition, Best Buy India employees will join TCS’s global organisation. Their existing knowledge of Best Buy’s business and technology will continue to support the retailer, while employees will also get access to TCS’s learning, innovation and AI ecosystem.
The center will work on redesigning workflows and developing AI-powered experiences and solutions as it moves towards the new model.
TCS to Build AI-Focused Retail Capabilities
Krishnan Ramanujam, President, Consumer Business Group, TCS, said combining Best Buy’s technology talent with TCS’s retail expertise, AI and engineering capabilities will create an AI-native capability engine aligned with the retailer’s priorities.
