Infosys Share Price in Focus; Extends Strategic Collaboration with ABN AMRO

Infosys and ABN AMRO Bank have extended their strategic collaboration, with the latest agreement centred on simplifying the Dutch lender’s IT systems and expanding the use of artificial intelligence across its operations.
The companies announced the development on September 30, 2026.
IT Services Under the Deal
As part of the extended arrangement, Infosys will provide application development, testing and support services to ABN AMRO. The work will cover the bank’s existing technology environment, with the stated aim of reducing complexity and supporting greater scalability.
The companies said the engagement will also involve streamlining technology platforms and improving the delivery of digital services. Infosys will use its engineering workforce and alternative delivery models as part of the work.
Greater Use of AI
Infosys Topaz will be used in the collaboration to support ABN AMRO’s wider adoption of AI. The platform includes generative and agentic AI technologies, with the companies moving from individual AI projects towards broader use across the bank’s technology estate.
The work is expected to help ABN AMRO use data to generate insights and support technology-led changes. Infosys said the collaboration will also focus on building a secure and scalable technology base for the bank.
Focus on Operating Costs
Carsten Bittner, Chief Innovation and Technology Officer at ABN AMRO Bank, said the renewed collaboration would support the simplification and modernisation of the bank’s IT landscape. He also pointed to responsible AI adoption, operational efficiency, and lower complexity and operating costs.
Jay Nair, Executive Vice President and Industry Head for Financial Services and Public Sector at Infosys, said the company would combine its financial services expertise, global delivery model and Infosys Topaz as part of the engagement.
