Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced a strategic collaboration with artificial intelligence company Mistral to accelerate enterprise AI adoption across industries.
As part of the agreement, TCS will become the first Global Systems Integrator (GSI) partner for Mistral Forge, an AI platform designed to help organisations build advanced AI models using proprietary enterprise data and domain-specific knowledge.
The partnership aims to combine TCS’ industry expertise and engineering capabilities with Mistral’s AI technologies to support large-scale AI deployments for enterprises and government organisations.
Under the collaboration, TCS will utilise Mistral Forge to develop tailored AI solutions for enterprises across various sectors.
The platform enables organisations to create AI models grounded in their own data and business context, helping improve operational efficiency and decision-making.
The partnership will initially focus on industries including banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI), manufacturing, healthcare and the public sector, where demand for secure and domain-specific AI applications continues to grow.
As part of the agreement, TCS will establish a dedicated Centre of Excellence for Mistral. The facility will focus on joint innovation, development of industry-focused AI solutions, specialised training programmes and accelerated deployment of AI projects for clients.
The centre will also provide early access to Mistral’s beta AI models, enabling faster development and testing of new enterprise AI applications.
As per the exchange filings, Arthur Mensch, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Mistral, said the partnership would help enterprises move beyond experimentation and accelerate production-ready AI deployments tailored to their operational requirements.
K Krithivasan, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of TCS, stated that the collaboration strengthens the company’s AI ecosystem and supports its focus on delivering trusted AI solutions that address industry-specific challenges, regulatory requirements and sovereign needs.
The partnership forms part of TCS’ broader "Infrastructure to Intelligence" strategy, under which the company continues to invest across AI infrastructure, data, platforms, applications and intelligent systems.
The company aims to expand AI-led services and embed artificial intelligence across enterprise operations for global clients.
