
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has entered into a long-term agreement with Swedish industrial company SKF for technology management and business transformation work, according to a regulatory filing dated May 27, 2026.
The contract covers applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data management, connectivity, and support services across SKF’s global operations.
The companies plan to update SKF’s existing technology systems and bring more uniformity across operations in different markets.
SKF manufactures bearings, seals, lubrication products and industrial monitoring systems used across sectors including automotive and manufacturing.
The company operates in around 130 countries and works through nearly 17,000 distributor locations globally.
For 2025, SKF reported annual sales of SEK 91.58 billion. The company had 37,271 employees during the year.
The filing noted that the project would support technology integration across business and operational functions.
TCS has operated in the Nordic region since 1991. The company currently employs more than 20,000 people across Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. It also has offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö.
According to the filing, the engagement will include work related to infrastructure upgrades, operational systems, and data services across SKF’s global business network. The companies did not disclose the financial value or tenure of the contract.

As of May 27, 2026, 2:21 pm, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd (TCS) share price was trading at ₹2,269.80, down 0.28% from the previous closing price.
