TCS Share Price in Focus; Bags MyState Mandate for Core Banking Platform Deployment

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has been selected by Australia’s MyState Limited to deploy its BaNCS Global Banking Platform.
The company announced the development on October 14, 2026, in a filing to the stock exchanges. The platform will be used for MyState Bank’s core banking operations following its merger with Auswide Bank.
The project involves bringing separate banking systems, business processes, data repositories, and customer service functions into a single operating model.
Focus on Merging Banking Operations
The implementation is to support the integration of the two businesses and simplify the bank’s technology systems. It will also provide the infrastructure to accommodate future acquisitions, according to the company’s announcement.
MyState Limited plans to use the platform to consolidate its operations and manage banking services through a unified system. The work will cover core banking, payments, customer engagement, relationship management, and digital operations.
Platform Includes Automation and AI Tools
The deployment will use the BaNCS platform’s model-bank architecture, configurable product framework, and workflow automation capabilities. It will also include application programming interface (API)-based integration and AI-based transformation tools.
According to TCS, these features are intended to simplify the bank’s technology infrastructure, improve efficiency, and support changes to banking products and services. The platform is also to accommodate the bank’s expansion and potential acquisitions.
MyState Management Comments on the Deal
Brett Morgan, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of MyState Limited, said the new platform would help the bank consolidate systems and reduce operational complexity.
He added that the technology would support digital services and the use of data to provide more personalised banking services to customers across Australia.
Venkateshwaran Srinivasan, Global Head of Financial Solutions at TCS, said the implementation would help MyState Bank integrate its operations following the merger and improve efficiency.
