Tata Electronics Exports Reach ₹99,128 Crore, Revenue Rises 96% in FY26

Tata Electronics reported combined exports of ₹99,128 crore in FY26, up from ₹76,953 crore in FY25, according to The Economic Times news report citing filings with the Registrar of Companies (RoC).
The company’s exports were led by Taiwan, the US and Ireland, where Apple has its European headquarters. The figures cover three entities: Tata Electronics, Tata Electronics System Solutions and Tata Electronics Products and Solutions.
The latter, formerly Pegatron Technology India, is a joint venture in which Tata Electronics holds a 60% stake and Taiwan’s Pegatron owns 40%.
Taiwan Accounts for Largest Share
Exports to Taiwan stood at ₹47,930 crore in FY26, followed by ₹38,508 crore to the US and ₹11,980 crore to Ireland. Exports accounted for around 76% of the three entities’ reported production revenue.
The FY25 figures are not directly comparable with those for FY26. Tata Electronics System Solutions, formerly the Wistron business acquired by the Tata group, reported a 15-month financial period in FY25.
On a comparable 12-month basis, the increase in exports would be higher than the reported growth of over 29%.
Revenue Increases, Loss Widens
Tata Electronics reported consolidated operating revenue of ₹1,29,902 crore in FY26, an increase of 96% from the previous year. Its consolidated net loss widened to ₹1,611 crore from ₹69 crore in FY25.
Consolidated domestic sales rose 46% to ₹30,182 crore during the year. These sales include products supplied to Apple India, according to an industry executive. Apple India reported sales of ₹1,03,853 crore and a net profit of ₹5,311 crore in FY26.
Imports Remain a Significant Cost
The three Tata Electronics entities reported combined foreign exchange outgo of ₹1,29,641 crore in FY26, exceeding their forex earnings. This indicates continued reliance on imported components, although the outgo may also include licensing fees and other foreign currency payments.
The rupee weakened from around ₹85.60 to ₹94.80 against the US dollar during FY26, potentially increasing the reported rupee value of exports.
The report citing the filings shows higher export revenue alongside rising losses and substantial foreign exchange outgo.
