Swiggy, HDFC Bank Launch BLCK and Ornge Co-Branded Credit Cards with Up to ₹48,000 Annual Savings

Swiggy and HDFC Bank have expanded their partnership in the payments segment with the launch of 2 new co-branded credit cards designed to reward everyday digital spending across multiple lifestyle categories, as per news reports. 

2 New Co-Branded Credit Cards Introduced 

The companies have launched the Swiggy BLCK HDFC Bank Credit Card and the Swiggy Ornge HDFC Bank Credit Card, offering cashback and partner discounts that could translate into annual savings of up to ₹48,000, depending on spending patterns. 

Both cards are aimed at users who frequently spend on food delivery, quick commerce groceries, dining out, travel bookings and online shopping, integrating rewards into everyday digital consumption. 

Rewards Structure for Different Spending Profiles 

The Swiggy BLCK HDFC Bank Credit Card targets higher-spending lifestyle users. It offers 10% cashback on Swiggy purchases, up to 5% cashback on entertainment, travel and e-commerce platforms, and 1% cashback on other transactions, along with a complimentary three-month Swiggy One BLCK membership.

The Swiggy Ornge HDFC Bank Credit Card is designed for routine spending and provides 5% cashback on Swiggy and several online categories, 1% cashback on other transactions, and a 12-month Swiggy One membership. 

Both variants also offer enhanced rewards within the 5% cashback category across partner platforms alongside Swiggy spending. 

Travel and Shopping Benefits Across Partner Platforms 

Cardholders will also receive discounts and cashback across partner platforms including Cleartrip and Nykaa. Benefits include 19% off plus 5% cashback on hotel bookings on Cleartrip, 6% off plus 5% cashback on flight bookings on Cleartrip, and 5% off plus 5% cashback across Nykaa apps. 

The rewards ecosystem extends to more than 30 online platforms, including Amazon, Flipkart and Myntra. Existing users of the Swiggy HDFC Bank Credit Card, launched in 2023, will continue receiving cashback benefits across the Swiggy ecosystem and partner merchants. 

Phani Kishan Addepalli, Chief Growth Officer and Co-Founder of Swiggy, said the new cards aim to make the co-branded offering more accessible while helping users unlock rewards across the Swiggy ecosystem, shopping and travel. 

Vidya Pradeep, Head – Credit and Debit Cards Product and Portfolio at HDFC Bank, said the launch of two variants provides greater flexibility and deeper rewards across high-frequency and premium spending categories.

Conclusion
