
SRF Limited announced a strong financial performance for the first quarter of FY27, supported by growth across its major business segments. The company reported its highest-ever quarterly results, with revenue, operating profit, and net profit showing strong year-on-year growth.
For the quarter ended June 30, 2026:
The company said inventory gains supported the quarter, but the overall growth was mainly driven by strong business performance.
Chemicals Business
The Chemicals business recorded revenue of ₹2,315 crore, up 26% from ₹1,839 crore a year ago.
Operating profit increased 27% to ₹638 crore.
Performance Films & Foil Business
Revenue from this segment increased 42% to ₹2,017 crore from ₹1,418 crore. Operating profit surged 149% to ₹350 crore.
The company achieved its highest-ever quarterly production in films and foil, supported by value-added products and a better product mix.
Technical Textiles Business
Revenue rose 28% to ₹597 crore, while operating profit climbed 186% to ₹108 crore.
Growth was supported by stable demand for tyre cord fabrics and strong domestic and export demand for belting fabrics.
Other Businesses
Revenue increased 11% to ₹105 crore, while operating profit grew 50% to ₹20 crore.
The coated and laminated fabrics business maintained its leadership position in the domestic market with healthy margins.
SRF's board approved an investment of ₹250 crore to establish a BOPET Thick Film Line in India under its Performance Films & Foil business.
The company is also investing in several smaller projects within its Specialty Chemicals business to increase production capacity and improve operational efficiency, especially in its agrochemicals portfolio.
The Board of Directors approved an interim dividend of ₹5 per equity share for shareholders.

The company operates manufacturing facilities across India, Thailand, South Africa, and Hungary, exports to over 90 countries, and employs more than 9,500 people worldwide.
SRF share price (NSE: SRF) was trading at ₹2,847.30, down 3.12% (₹91.70) on July 22, 2026, after opening at ₹2,952.90 on the NSE. During the session, the stock touched an intraday high of ₹2,969.90 and a low of ₹2,829.70.
