Smartworks Coworking Spaces Share Price in Focus; Announces ₹235 Crore in Incremental Contracted Rental Revenue

Smartworks Coworking Spaces Limited has added around ₹235 crore in contracted rental revenue after existing clients expanded their workspace requirements across several cities, as per the exchange filings.
The new contracts have tenures of up to 60 months and add to the company's contracted rental revenue base of around ₹5,400 crore as of June 30, 2026.
Existing Clients Take More Space
The expansion mandates include companies from the Fortune 500, Forbes 2000 and large Indian corporate groups.
Among the clients are a global engineering and technology services company linked to a Fortune India 500 company, the Indian IT services arm of a Forbes 2000 company and a Fortune 500 infrastructure consulting firm. Several of these businesses are also building technology and AI capabilities through their India centres.
For Smartworks, the latest additions come from customers already using its managed office spaces.
Enterprise Business Drives Revenue
Enterprise customers account for about 92% of Smartworks' revenue, while clients operating across multiple cities contribute around 35%.
The company said it has also secured its expansion pipeline in prime locations for FY27 and FY28, with part of the requirement already locked in for FY29.
Smartworks had a secured footprint of around 16.9 million sq. ft. across 70 centres in 15 cities in India and Singapore as of June 30, 2026.
Management's View
Neetish Sarda, Founder and Managing Director Smartworks, said existing clients choosing to expand within its campuses reflects the value of having space that can grow with their requirements.
He added that large organisations are looking for locations, infrastructure and the ability to scale without having to relocate.
