Sigma Advanced Systems has secured a new long-term agreement worth nearly £125 million with Rolls-Royce through its recently acquired UK subsidiary, Bromford Precision Solutions, as per the exchange filing.
The new agreement comes soon after Sigma secured another £300 million long-term agreement with Rolls-Royce.
Bromford to Make Aircraft Engine Parts
Under the new agreement, Bromford will make different parts used in aircraft engines. These include aero-engine rings, casings, lock plates, and other engine structures. The work will be carried out through Sigma's manufacturing facilities in India and the UK.
Long-Term Business With Rolls-Royce
The new order gives Sigma more work from Rolls-Royce and increases its role in the company's UK supply chain. Sigma said the two agreements will also give the group better visibility of revenue over the long term.
UK and India Manufacturing
The company plans to use both its Indian and UK manufacturing facilities for the Rolls-Royce work. This will allow Sigma to supply the required parts from two locations and give Rolls-Royce a wider supply base.
