Shyam Metalics Share Price in Focus; September 2026 Sales Show Growth Across Key Segments

Shyam Metalics and Energy Limited reported its consolidated sales performance for September 2026 and the second quarter of FY27 in a sales release dated October 6, 2026.
The company reported movement across stainless steel, speciality alloys, carbon steel, metallics and aluminium foil, with several segments recording higher realisations during the month.
Stainless Steel and Speciality Alloys
Stainless steel sales volume rose 35.06% year-on-year to 9,778 MT in September FY27, while average realisation increased 22.99% to ₹1,68,803 per MT.
Compared with August 2026, volume fell 10.45% and realisation declined 7.77%. For Q2 FY27, volume stood at 29,847 MT, up 28.45% from Q1, while realisation increased 0.70%.
Speciality alloys also recorded growth. September volume increased 16.17% year-on-year to 20,274 MT, with average realisation rising 12.26% to ₹1,13,832 per MT.
On a month-on-month basis, volume and realisation increased 6.69% and 1.83%, respectively. Q2 volume rose 10.11% quarter-on-quarter, while realisation increased 5.80%.
Carbon Steel Performance
Carbon steel flat sales saw the sharpest volume increase, rising 164.38% year-on-year to 31,742 MT. Average realisation was ₹86,823 per MT, 18.71% higher than a year earlier. Q2 volume increased 64.50% quarter-on-quarter to 81,493 MT, although realisation declined 1.96%.
Carbon steel long sales, which include steel billet and long steel products, declined 8.37% year-on-year to 1,35,963 MT. However, realisation rose 12.95% to ₹46,463 per MT. Q2 volume fell 4.49%, while realisation increased 6.84%.
Metallics and Aluminium Foil
Metallics sales increased 54.89% year-on-year to 3,14,238 MT in September, while realisation rose 2.82% to ₹20,975 per MT. Aluminium foil volume declined 19.10% to 1,664 MT, but realisation increased 26.14% to ₹4,96,441 per MT.
Quarterly figures also showed mixed volume trends.
