On September 7, 2026, RBL Bank Limited's Board of Directors approved the establishment of a Euro Medium Term Note (EMTN) Programme, as per the exchange filings.  

This initiative aligns with Regulation S of the U.S. Securities Act, 1933, pending necessary regulatory approvals. 

Details of the EMTN Programme 

The EMTN Programme will enable RBL Bank to issue foreign currency bonds, notes, or other debt securities up to $1,000,000,000 (USD one billion). These issuances will occur through one or more transactions, contingent on market conditions and regulatory compliance. 

The bank's Board has delegated certain powers to the Borrowing Committee to manage actions related to the EMTN Programme and the issuance of securities.  

Notably, these securities will not be offered or sold to investors in India.

The board meeting, which commenced at 12:30 p.m. and concluded at 12:54 p.m. IST, also ensured compliance with Regulation 46(2) of SEBI Listing Regulations by hosting the information on the bank’s website.

RBL Bank delivered a stable performance for the quarter ending June 30, 2026, with consolidated net profit growing 9.34% year-on-year to ₹234.23 crore and total income reaching ₹4,762.28 crore.  

The period was highlighted by a significant equity infusion from Emirates NBD, which elevated the capital adequacy ratio to 33.28% and improved asset quality metrics, with the Gross NPA ratio falling to 1.30%.
