Raymond Share Price in Focus; Accelerates Andhra Pradesh Expansion to Support Growth Momentum

Raymond Limited is expanding its manufacturing capacity in Andhra Pradesh with an additional brownfield facility near its existing Mega manufacturing unit, as per the exchange filing. The new facility is intended to handle additional customer requirements and volumes during the current financial year.
The company announced the expansion on October 12, 2026, while confirming that its planned greenfield project in the state is progressing as scheduled.
Additional Capacity to Meet Current Demand
The brownfield facility is being developed to provide an interim increase in capacity, allowing Raymond to respond more quickly to customer requirements. The company said the decision reflects the current momentum in its business.
Sanjeev Sharma, Joint Managing Director and CEO of JKMPTL, Raymond Group, said the additional capacity would help the company address near-term opportunities while continuing to build infrastructure for longer-term growth.
Greenfield Project Remains on Schedule
Alongside the additional facility, Raymond is continuing work on its planned greenfield project in Andhra Pradesh.
Unlike the brownfield expansion aimed at immediate requirements, this project is intended to provide a larger manufacturing base for the company's medium- and long-term plans.
The company is pursuing both projects in parallel, with the brownfield facility addressing current volumes and the greenfield development intended to support future demand.
Two-Stage Expansion Plan
Raymond's approach combines a near-term capacity increase with a larger manufacturing facility for the future. The company said the expansion is focused on responding to customer demand while maintaining capital and execution discipline.
The additional infrastructure is also intended to strengthen its ability to serve opportunities in domestic and international markets.
