PTC Industries Shares Surges as Subsidiary Aerolloy Technologies Signs Agreement with Airbus for Titanium Castings

PTC Industries Ltd has signed an agreement with Airbus through its wholly owned subsidiary, Aerolloy Technologies Ltd, for the development, production and supply of titanium castings used in the A320neo, A330neo and A350 aircraft programmes, as per an exchange filing dated August 6, 2026.
The agreement covers development, qualification and production activities, with serial supplies subject to Airbus completing its qualification process.
Work Covers Multiple Manufacturing Stages
The agreement requires Aerolloy to undertake several stages of manufacturing. These include producing titanium material, manufacturing precision castings, machining the components, carrying out inspections, and delivering finished parts ready for installation.
The company said the work will be carried out through its integrated manufacturing process rather than splitting production across different suppliers.
Qualification Process Still Pending
The project will move through development and industrialisation before commercial production begins. Airbus' qualification process forms an essential part of the agreement, and production supplies will start only after the required standards, and programme conditions are met.
The company has described the agreement as a pathway towards future serial production rather than an immediate production contract.
Manufacturing Operations in India
According to PTC Industries, the components will be manufactured through an integrated production route covering material production, casting, machining, and inspection.
The company said this approach allows different manufacturing stages to be carried out within one system, providing greater production oversight and quality control. The components will be manufactured in India for Airbus' commercial aircraft programmes.
Expansion of Production Capacity
PTC Industries manufactures products for the aerospace, defence, space and energy sectors and has been operating for more than six decades.
The company is also expanding facilities at the Lucknow node of the Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor, where additional titanium and superalloy manufacturing capacity for aerospace-grade materials is being developed.
