Prataap Snacks Share Price in Focus; Completes ₹15.45 Crore Acquisition of RLOP Food Processing

Prataap Snacks Limited has completed the acquisition of 100% equity share capital of RLOP Food Processing Private Limited for ₹15.45 crore. The transaction was completed on August 28, 2026, with the consideration paid in cash.
Following the transaction, RLOP Food Processing has become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Prataap Snacks. The company had previously informed the stock exchanges about its proposed acquisition and the share purchase agreement.
Company Holds Land Rights in Madhya Pradesh
RLOP Food Processing holds leasehold rights over a parcel of land allotted by government authorities through the District Industries Centre in Madhya Pradesh.
Prataap Snacks said the land is proposed to be used for its Greenfield manufacturing project. The acquisition was made to bring the company holding these land rights under its ownership. No government or regulatory approvals were required for the transaction.
RLOP Has Not Started Commercial Operations
RLOP Food Processing was incorporated on June 24, 2014, under the Companies Act, 2013. Its stated objective was to carry out food processing and related activities.
However, the company has not commenced commercial operations since its incorporation. It reported no turnover in the last financial year and did not generate revenue from operations during the previous three financial years.
Details of the Target Company
The target company is registered in Model Town, North West Delhi, and is classified under the food processing industry. Its presence is limited to India, according to the disclosure.
Despite being incorporated more than a decade ago, the company remained without commercial operations. Its leasehold rights over the government-allotted land form the key asset referred to in Prataap Snacks' acquisition disclosure.
Transaction Terms
Prataap Snacks acquired the entire issued, subscribed and paid-up equity share capital of RLOP Food Processing from its existing shareholders for ₹15,44,60,000.
The company said the deal does not fall under related-party transactions. It also stated that its promoters, promoter group and group companies have no interest in the acquired entity.

As of August 28, 2026, 3:30 pm, Prataap Snacks share price closed at ₹1,169.00, a 0.51% decrease from the previous closing price.
