Punjab National Bank (PNB) has established a $1.50 billion Euro Medium Term Note (EMTN) Programme, giving the bank a framework for medium-term note offerings. 

The development follows PNB’s earlier intimation dated July 29, 2026. The bank shared the latest update on September 16, 2026. 

PNB Sets Up $1.50 Billion Note Programme 

The programme has an overall size of $1.50 billion. PNB has also submitted the offering circular for the programme to India International Exchange (IFSC) Limited. 

The circular is available on the India International Exchange website. The latest update confirms that the programme has moved from the earlier announcement to the established programme. 

International Debt Market Route 

The EMTN Programme provides PNB with a structured route for medium-term note offerings in the international debt market. 

The bank’s September 16 update is focused on the establishment of the programme and its offering circular. It does not provide details of a specific note offering under the programme.
