Paytm Share Price Gains Over 4% as It Clarifies Media Report on Flip Partnership for Soundbox Tech in Indonesia

One 97 Communications Limited, known as Paytm, has announced a partnership with Indonesian fintech firm Flip to introduce its Soundbox technology in Indonesia. This move is part of Paytm's broader international expansion strategy. 

Details of the Indonesian Partnership 

As per the exchange filings, Paytm has teamed up with Flip and its subsidiary, PT Duta Teknologi Kreatif (DTK), to bring its Soundbox technology to the Indonesian market.  

Paytm and its subsidiaries will provide the necessary device hardware and technology to DTK. Additionally, Paytm has made a minority equity investment in DTK to support this initiative. 

Flip will be responsible for the local operational execution of the partnership. DTK holds a PJP1 license, which grants them the regulatory authority required for merchant acquiring operations in Indonesia. 

Media Clarification and Strategic Alignment 

As per the exchange filings, Paytm issued an official clarification to the BSE and NSE regarding a media report. The report discussed the partnership with Flip to expand Soundbox technology into Indonesia.  

Paytm emphasised that this move aligns with its international expansion strategy, which was first detailed in its November 4, 2025, earnings release.

Materiality and Disclosure Status 

Paytm has stated that this partnership does not qualify as a "material event" under Regulation 30 of the SEBI LODR Regulations. The company confirmed that there were no prior unannounced developments that required disclosure before this news was reported. 

One97 Communications Share Price Performance 

As of July 10, 2026, at 11:22 AM, One97 Communications share price on NSE was trading at ₹1,314.70, up by 4.10% from the previous closing price.
