Patel Engineering Shares Surges Over 3% After Q1FY27 Results; Net Profit Rises 24.49% YoY

Patel Engineering reported a stronger bottom-line performance for the June quarter, with consolidated net profit attributable to owners increasing to ₹93.48 crore from ₹75.09 crore a year earlier.
Revenue from operations also moved higher, while the company's ₹14,636 crore order book continued to provide revenue visibility across infrastructure segments as of June 30, 2026.
Revenue and EBITDA Improve
Consolidated revenue from operations reached ₹1,280.74 crore in Q1FY27, compared with ₹1,233.45 crore in Q1FY26, marking 3.83% YoY growth.
Operating EBITDA increased to ₹179.60 crore from ₹165.33 crore, with the quarter's EBITDA margin standing at 14.02%.
Net Profit Climbs 24.49%
Consolidated net profit attributable to owners rose 24.49% YoY to ₹93.48 crore. The corresponding margin stood at 7.30%, compared with ₹75.09 crore in the year-ago quarter.
As per the exchange filings, Ms Kavita Shirvaikar, Managing Director, Patel Engineering Limited, stated, "Our financial performance demonstrates the continued benefits of disciplined project execution and prudent cost management.
We remain focused on improving execution efficiency, maintaining healthy liquidity and further strengthening our core capabilities. These initiatives provide us with the flexibility to pursue quality growth opportunities while creating long-term value for all stakeholders."
Hydropower Projects Advance
The Subansiri Lower Hydropower Project reached 1,000 MW of operational capacity following the commissioning of Unit 4, while concreting work for Unit 7 commenced.
At the Kwar Hydropower Project, dam concrete work crossed 50% completion. Construction also began on the 1,125 MW Dorjilung Hydropower Project in Bhutan.

Order Book and Project Recognition
Patel Engineering's order book stood at ₹14,636 crore as of June 30, 2026.
The company also received recognition at the EPC World Awards for the Sela Tunnel Project and at the Assocham Achievers Awards for Tunnel T 15 Project. Its long-term credit rating was upgraded from A- to A in June 2026.
