Organic Recycling Systems Limited (ORSL), a cleantech and decarbonisation solutions company, has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding with the Immersive Technology and Entrepreneurship Labs Foundation in Chennai.
The partnership aims to promote innovation, research and skill development in areas such as bioenergy, waste management and green technologies. Through this collaboration, both organisations plan to develop scalable and commercially viable environmental solutions.
The MoU establishes a collaborative framework for joint research and development programmes between the two organisations. These initiatives will focus on areas such as bioenergy production, waste management systems and green chemical technologies.
The partnership will also work on consultancy projects, training programmes and research initiatives designed to create practical solutions for environmental sustainability.
Additionally, the two organisations will collaborate on national and international funding proposals, including initiatives supported by agencies such as the Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council and the Department of Science and Technology.
Another important aspect of the partnership is the development of skill-building programmes aimed at students and professionals. The collaboration will offer internship opportunities, industry training programmes and practical exposure to emerging technologies in the clean energy sector.
Participants will also gain access to ORSL’s advanced research and development infrastructure, which will support experimentation, pilot projects and validation of new technologies.
The collaboration aligns with ORSL’s broader strategy of expanding its research and innovation ecosystem. The company has already partnered with several academic and research institutions to accelerate technology development in the cleantech sector.
These collaborations are expected to help bridge the gap between academic research and industry implementation, enabling faster development and commercialisation of next-generation environmental technologies.
