Ola Electric Mobility share price declined during the trading session on July 6, 2026, following a report that two suppliers of the company's operating arm have approached the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) seeking insolvency proceedings over alleged unpaid dues.
Earlier this month, the company had also announced its Q1 FY27 sales performance, reporting higher vehicle registrations on a quarter-on-quarter basis.
As reported by LiveMint, two suppliers of Ola Electric Technologies Pvt. Ltd., the operating arm of Ola Electric Mobility Ltd., have approached the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) seeking the initiation of insolvency proceedings over alleged unpaid dues exceeding ₹40 crore.
According to the report, citing filings with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), dues of ₹29.8 crore owed to Sterling and ₹10.8 crore owed to Anevolve have remained outstanding for more than 45 days, prompting both companies to seek relief before the tribunal.
The report further stated that the NCLT's Bengaluru Bench is hearing Sterling's petition on July 6, nearly a month after hearing Anevolve's plea. It also noted that this is the latest supplier-related dispute involving the electric vehicle manufacturer following a similar petition filed by one of its registration agencies in 2025.
