According to PTI, Ola Electric announced plans to hire 1,000 senior service professionals in the next phase of its Hyperservice upgrade. This initiative comes in response to rising service demands following the rapid growth in deliveries of its electric 2-wheelers since 2023.
The current after-sales team of 2,000 employees will see a significant capability boost with this latest expansion.
Unlike general workforce additions, Ola is prioritising high-skill roles such as EV diagnostics experts, service centre leads, and customer service advisors.
The company stated the focus is on empowering critical decision-making at service centres and ensuring consistent and rapid solutions across all locations.
The move follows weeks of emergency taskforce deployments in major cities to resolve service delays and parts shortages.
The first phase successfully cleared backlogs in Bengaluru during a pilot run and is now being scaled nationwide. This second phase aims to provide a permanent and robust structure to handle future volumes efficiently.

Alongside manpower upgrades, Ola has introduced digital features including app-based service booking and a genuine-parts e-store. These services allow customers to schedule appointments and access common components directly, thereby reducing wait times at physical service centres.
Ola’s founder Bhavish Aggarwal has taken a direct role in overseeing the service revamp. His on-ground visits to centres and progress updates underscore the priority the company places on enhancing its customer support mechanism.
As of December 05, 2025, at 2:15 PM, Ola Electric Mobility share price on NSE was trading at ₹35.48 down by 1.77% from the previous closing price.
With 1,000 senior hires and tech-driven customer interface tools, Ola Electric is shifting Hyperservice from a reactive approach to a long-term operational strategy. The transformation aims to ensure consistency and speed in after-sales service across India.
